HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD RIGHT EVERY TIME

This Banana Bread is perfect for tea-time snacks. It's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Slice and serve it with your family and friends and Enjoy!




Yield: 12 servings Prep Time: 15 min

Cook time: 60-65 min Total Time: 80 min


INGREDIENTS


2 medium ripe bananas

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp (5g) baking soda

1/2 tsp. kosher salt

1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

3/4 c. brown sugar/ Raw Sugar

2 large egg

1 tsp (5mL) pure vanilla extract

1 tsp Cinnamon

1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 c. chopped toasted Almonds


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 320F/160C and grease the loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Mash the bananas using fork or potatoe masher until it has no big chunks, and then set it aside

  4. In another large bowl, mix together melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract and cinnamon.

  5. Add mashed bananas by carefully folding rather than stirring around.

  6. Gradually add flour mixture to wet ingredients and gently fold, when partly combined add rest of the flour mixture, make sure you are going around the edge and center of the bowl when you are folding until you don’t see any dry flour.

  7. Fold in chocolate chips and Almonds and transfer to prepared loaf pan, and then smooth it out. Top the loaf with reserved chocolate chips and chopped nuts for presentation

  8. Pop it in the oven at 320 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 Celsius for 60 to 65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

  9. Let it cool 10 minutes in pan, then turn out onto a cooling rack to cool completely

  10. Slice serve it with your family and friends and Enjoy!

Notes:

1. You could use any nuts like walnut, pecans or any seeds. No more than 1 cup of goodies.

2. Continue to cook for few more minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

3. Remember not to over mix.
