Berry Almond Bar Recipe

Berry Almond Bars are perfect snacks for spring and summer months, these bars are perfectly sweet and tangy to will make you happy.


Recipe

Ingredients


1/2 cup(about 5 ounces) packed almond paste, crumbled

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 large egg

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 1/4 cup of almond flour

1/4 cup of butter, softened

½ cup raw sliced almonds

Direction

1. In a food processor, pulse the almond paste until the paste is reduced to crumbs

2. Add sugar, salt and cinnamon, and blend them

3. Add egg, vanilla extract and almond flour, pulse until well combined

4. Scrape down the sides and add butter then blend it all up untill well combined

5. Spread the batter evenly on the parchment lined baking pan

6. Spread the berry chia seed jam evenly over the batter.

7. Sprinkle raw sliced almonds over berry chia seeds jam

8. Bake it in the over at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-35 minutes. Until almonds and the crust are browned.

9. Check them halfway through baking and cover with foil if top is browning too quickly

10. Remove from oven and cool completely, use the parchment paper to lift out of the pan and set on a cutting board

11. Cut into squares or diamonds whatever shape you like and Enjoy
